The Number 8 Mandala

This Mandala was designed for the album cover for the band The Von.

It was commissioned by the lead singer/guitarist Luis Bonilla. he band wanted to represent the number 8 to show the duality of it’s meaning in the layout of the design. The design incorporates a representation of the universe, a merkabah along many different flowers showing the organic representation of life. On the opposite side of the 8 the band wanted to show disintegration, so we placed bullet shells, plastic, dead leaves and sugar to represent decay.

The Number 8 holds a lot of meanings to many people. In numerology, this number is often associated with money and power, but it has many other attributes that are often overlooked.

Number 8 resonates with the influences and vibrations of authority and personal power, self-confidence, executive ability, confidence, inner-strength, professionalism and the professional, management, material freedom, success, good judgement, money, finances, riches, manifesting wealth, abundance and prosperity. And also it’s dualities, control, ambition, good and bad, right and wrong, day and night, greed and decay.
