I recently took a 2D Character design course as part of my MFA program at the University of Miami and I acquired an iPad for it as well as the Procreate app which is by far one of my absolute favorite applications. I have never felt so excited to have free time to be creative and draw to my heart’s desire.
For the class I mentioned, I created a series of whimsical drawings based on some of the ancestral medicines I have worked with, as well as some lively characters that I have encountered. They are all inspired by their influence in my life and their powerful healing energy.
